Emma Nyra Apologizes After Getting Dragged For “Defending” Hushpuppi

Nigerian singer, Emma Nyra has apologized to her fans after making statements that seemingly defends Instagram sensation, Hushpuppi. 

The singer had taken to Twitter to state that some people are only happy about his arrest because he was oppressing them on social media. She added that rejoicing about his downfall is not going to put money in one’s pocket. However, this statement did not sit well with a lot of fans as they called her out for defending his crimes.

In a new tweet, Emma stated that she would bever defend a fraudster and simply made that statement because she was tired of reading about it. She then apologized if she had offended anyone as she never meant to do that. She wrote: ” I genuinely apologize if I offended anyone. I never meant to do that. I simply meant that I’m tired of reading about it. Justice will be served when it comes to his case and understand that I would never defend his actions at all. I actually never did.

Men like my father who migrated to america to seek honest work as a pharmacist will now be labeled in the same box as hushpuppi because he’s Nigerian. That’s what I meant by his arrest is bad news because when I see him on the news in america all they say is Nigeria over & over
