Burna Boy reached an entirely new feat in Nigerian music yesterday after his “African Giant” album got nominated for a possible Grammy award.
Since the nomination, the industry has not been the same as there has been jubilation and wide celebrations across every corner of it and even up till this morning. Meanwhile, while the the news of the nomination came in freshly yesterday, Burna was on the move, going for a concert in Frankfurt, Germany.
On getting to the venue of his concert, he broke the news of the Grammy nomination to the crowd and there was a shout of joy which almost brought down the roof of the venue. It was a moment that definitely would be cherished by Burna and one that would make him realize how huge he now is as an artiste.
