Nigerian singer and songwriter, Peruzzi has apologized for his irresponsible old tweets and also responded to the recent rape allegations leveled against him.
Shortly after he was accused of rape by a lady identified as Princess, Peruzzi’s old tweets from 2010-2012 which seemly advocates rape resurfaced on the internet. The singer rushed to delete the tweets but got exposed immediately as Twitter users had already taken shots of the tweets.
The singer lady took to his Instagram, page to declare that he is not and would never be a rapist. However, in a full statement released via his Instagram account, Peruzzi apologized for his irresponsible tweets and stated that he was ashamed of his actions. He stood on his ground that the never raped Princess in 2012 and also reached out to the families of Uwa and Tina who passed away as a result of rape and police brutality.
