American rapper, Cardi B has defended her husband, Offset after he was called out for gifting their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture a bag worth thousands of dollars.
Kulture Kiari Cephas turned 2 on the 10th of July, 2020 and the celebrity couple threw her a party at their home. To make the day a memorable one, Offset gave his daughter, a pricey mini pink Birkin bag and shared the video on the gram. It was reported that the bags can cost from $9,000 to $500,000 and have a tendency to appreciate in value.
However, the couple were called out for gifting their daughter with such an expensive gift and Cardi took to social media to respond. In the new video Cardi, insists her daughter needs the bag, telling her followers: “Yea, kids only care about toys and candy. But the thing is, kids also go outside. Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places. Celebrity kids, they go do red carpets.
‘And if I’m fly, and daddy’s fly, then so is the kid. If I’m wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid’s having the same thing. It’s not up to what the kids like. If it was the kids, they’d be outside in diapers.
