Burna Boy’s “African Giant” Remains Highest Streamed African Album With 304 Million Streams On Spotify

Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated fourth album “African Giant” has achieved another yet another milestone a year after its release. 

The album which features guest appearances from Jorja Smith, Jeremih, Damian Marley, and Future, among others was nominated for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards and had over 600 million streams in 2019 alone. It was also was named “the most streamed music album in Africa” in 2019 and now it remains the highest streamed African album on Spotify with 304 million streams.
