Atlanta Jewelry store, ICEBOX felt the heat from 30BG after they referred to Davido as a rapper and not an Afrobeat/Pop artiste.
On the 26th of September, Icebox hopped to their Instagram account for a Q&A session. They posted a picture of their biggest customer, Davido wearing his customized diamond encrusted pendants and asked “Which Rapper spent over $100k at Icebox?”
Naturally, many of Davido’s hailed him for being versatile.Others decided to melt Icebox. They informed the Jewellery makers that Davido isn’t a rapper and shouldn’t be given a title outside his genre of music.
