Introducing Edafe Juweto, popularly known as Badman Dafe, a multi talented singer, songwriter who is screaming ‘superstar’ from afar with the quality of music he creates and puts out.
Born in the early 90s in Delta state and inspired by the new wave of afropop artists in the early 2010s, Badman Dafe used to be known as just Dafe when he released songs in 2019 and 2020. A single in 2020 titled ‘Badman’ produced by the talented Cracker Mallo completely transformed his perception of himself as he sought to rebrand shortly after. You can say a revelation inspired him to take up the tag and become what he sang about, hence the beautiful creation of an enigma called ‘Badman Dafe’.
He is an impressive graduate of the great University of Benin where he graduated, in flying colors, with a degree in Geography and regional planning; a complete opposite of what the stars have aligned for him as a musician in today’s world.
His new single is titled “Envy“, a majestic single where he sings about the struggle to understand why certain individuals resent his person and his music. A painful thought for an otherwise brilliant musical mind. He reassures himself for the task ahead and prophesy goodness his way with his unique melodious singing.
Badman Dafe with the help of Apex Management Global now has a simple goal in mind, which is to get into the mix of the new wave of Nigerian music exports. He wishes that in the near future, his music will travel the world and he will become an inspiration to the next generation.
