An unidentified Catholic priest is taking some time to reflect on his decision to ride a hoverboard at the conclusion of Christmas Eve Mass, according to religious news site Aleteia.
An official statement from the Diocese of San Pablo in the Phillipines reprimanded the priest, saying of Mass and the Holy Eucharist, "It is the Church’s highest form of worship. Consequently, it is not a personal celebration where one can capriciously introduce something to get the attention of the people." The Diocese described the incident as a wakeup call for the priest, whom the Dioecese claims offers his apologies and vows not to repeat the incident.
