Bad news – the festive period is officially over.
With the end of the Christmas, the in-between period where everyone forgets which day it is, and the horrific hangover of NYE it is now time to be painfully shifted back into reality.
Reality demands that you wear actual clothes instead of joggers, and get out of bed before 9am, and stop eating three lunches in one afternoon.
Basically reality is awful, and you’ll be faced with a rollercoaster of emotions on your first day back at work and in real world.
1. Denial
It’s early in the morning, and you’re wrapped up snugly and practically cocooned in your duvet.
And then there goes the alarm, blaring at you to remind you that you’re a peasant and must leave your warm nest and get ready for work.
