Brymo set Nigerian Twitter on fire yesterday when he gave a controversial reply to a fan for money to pay for his tuition fees in school.
Brymo told the young man who requested for the sum of 65,000 Naira to drop out as school is not for everybody. He added that dropping out of school helped him to reach his full potential and find his strength.
He continued:
Sometimes I think about life, where I have come from, my failures and triumphs.. Its all a lesson, that i must unlearn and then learn again.

At least I learnt a new word today “advise” , thanks. But school is not for everyone, some of us must provide the content of your textbooks.

Brymo’s response got a lot of mixed reactions from Nigerians. Some fans quickly pointed out that the singer should not have responded the way he did, while others applauded his blunt reply, adding that he had only spoken the truth that most people did not have the guts to come to terms with.
