Uber drivers in South Africa are joining a union so they can fight Uber

South African Uber drivers feel they are being exploited and have decided to do something about it. As many as 500 drivers (out of about 4000) have joined the South African Transport and Allied Workers’ Union (SATAWU) because they feel body has the resources (not to mention numbers) to actively do something about their situation. The plan is to take Uber to court so they can work under better terms.
