Angela Okorie is from Ishiagu-Ivo in Delta State, Nigeria.

Early Life

She is the third child in a family of 5. She was born and brought up in Cotonou. She moved to Nigeria at age 17.She was in the choir and drama group as a teenager. She schooled at LASU where she studied Public Administration and UNILAG where she also,studied Theatre Arts .

Acting Career

She filmed her first movie in December 2009, and since then has featured in over 60 movies. She rose to fame after featuring in a movie called Holy Serpent which was  produced by Coruma International Production

Awards & Nominations

She won the AFRIFIMO(Awards  & Film/Music Festival) award for Best Actress 2015.

 

Marriage

She is happily married to Chukwuma Orizu. They have a son , Chamberlain together.
