Pupils Terrified As Cows Invade Classrooms In Edo State

It was an unbelievable scene yesterday, June 7, as cows invaded Ohovbe Primary School Ikpoba, in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, thus disrupting their classes.

Head teacher of the school, Mrs Emumen Mercy while conducting reporters round the school disclosed that the “affected pupils have to stay outside for about one hour before the herdsman came to removed their cattle.”

She noted that the herdsmen have “turned the school to grazing ground,” adding that the cattle usually invaded the classrooms whenever it rained.

It was learnt that the school perimeter fence which broke down gave the herdsmen access into the school.

Mrs Mercy who showed reporters a recent video recorded by one of the school teachers said they had been facing the predicament for many months.
