The 12th edition of the Headies Awards held on Saturday night at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos State and Davido, Wizkid and Simi were the biggest winners of the night.
Davido claimed three big awards at the event. He claimed the award for ‘Artist of the Year’ at the recently held edition of the Headies Awards. The ‘Fia’ crooner also won the ‘Best Pop Single of the Year’ as well as ‘Song of the Year’ awards.
His ‘friend’ and counterpart, Wizkid, won four awards in different categories comprising; Viewers Choice, Best Music Video, Best R&B and Pop Album, and Best collaboration awards.
Simi had her own share of the big moments as she bagged awards in the category of Best R&B Single, Best Recording of the Year and Album of the Year.
