All is set and ready to go for the Multi-Talented Nigerian Afro-urban lord, Adekunle Gold as he kicks off the year on an impressive note with this new tune he aptly entitled “Jore”, which had production preference from the prolific ace producers, Pheelz and Major Banks. On the hit track, he employs the service of the FlyBoi Inc CEO and hit giver, Kizz Daniel who did justice to the record.
“Jore” simply implies as a girl’s name according to the lyrics. They both reveal feelings through their lyrics, expressing their unstoppable love for lady Jore… “I’ve made my choice baby, I’ll live for you, live for you yeah”. It’s just a perfect sound for lovers.
Adekunle Gold continues his hit streak, takes us on another journey of what’s to come. The singer who proves his position in the game is not in vain as this is a consecutive guaranteed hit following his previous release – “Young Love”, which adds to the artiste’s growing musical portfolio of experimentation and he affirms his growing status with this new hit track filled with emotion and seamless rendition.
On this record Kizz Daniel gave Adekunle Gold his special vocals, the unique element that differentiates him from every other Nigerian Artiste. He showed his lyrical prowess on the low tempo instrumental, truly Kizz is a beast! a Music Genius (Guess that why he calls himself ‘Vado Da Great’). His signature, voice, ad-lib, backup at the beginning of the song has sold ‘Jore‘ out already, This what I call an Instant Hit!.
Am even of the thought that this might be the only featured track from Kizz Daniel this year, (Just saying; judging by the kind of vibe which infused into the ‘Jore’ track. He murdered the cool jam with his unique voice and melody dropping verses full of venom) The vibe on the record is out of this world, Guess that why Adekunle Gold tweeted for forgiveness from God after recording ‘Jore‘, expressing his regrets for waiting so long to get on a song with Kizz Daniel.
After One minute (1;00) of listening to the song i became confused as to who really own the song but 15 seconds later Adekunle (AG baby) came in as the Golden boy we used to know him for. Kizz Daniel became a force that pulled him out of his play safe zone and shell he has been on for a while now. This just showed Adekunle Gold still had the ‘Orente‘ and ‘Shade‘ vibe we all fell for and loved. AG Baby held it down and went shoulders with Kizz till the end, he didn’t let Vado over shadow him all through, I Love Him For This. I felt the synergy between these two music lords.
The 2.58 minutes track is something you can’t get over. I wished the track was more than 3 minutes, the rhythm and melody feels likes something that shouldn’t have an ending (But what has a starting must surely has an ending). Adekunle Gold and Kizz Daniel owe me more collaboration cos i can’t get over their vibe.
With the Lyrics, melody and Arrange of this song ‘Jore‘… I give it a 8/10 (It should be a 10/10 rating but am keeping 2 for the short music time… lol)
