Nigerian Producer and CEO of Northside Entertainment, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye has finally reacted to the allegations leveled against him by Cynthia Morgan, May D, and the reason for P-Square’s break up.
During an Instagram Live chat with singer turned blogger, Tunde Ednut, Jude spoke about how Morgan had started answering Madrina before leaving his record label. He stated that he bever prevented her from changing her name and vowed to prove this with a contract he said was prepared by himself and her manager, Joy Tongo.
Jude also revealed that Cynthia Morgan owes him over 40 million naira that he never recovered. He said he says he shot 13 videos for her with each video costing over 3 million naira. He further disclosed that he bought her the white Range Rover that she eventually had an accident with, gave her money to buy land for her mother. Okoye also says that the singer played secret shows and kept the money for herself.
Speaking on May D who had nothing but terrible things to say about his experience with them, Jude said the singer was never signed tp the label. In fact, he says that May D left at the time he was offered him a contract. He added that he treated the “Soundtrack” singer like family and gave him rare privileges, but that May D wanted to live big like the music group and that was not possible.
Jude also spoke about the reason for P-Square’s break up. the reason for finally speaking up on the matter was because Peter took to social media to make some remarks about Cynthia’s plight. According to him, the problems started when Peter wanted him out of P Square because he felt that Usher and Beyonce had done the same and believed they could succeed without the help of a family member.
Jude said he hadn’t seen or spoken to Peter since September 2017 because he wants nothing but peace for himself. He assured that there is Peter and Paul have no issues, but that Peter is the one that has an issue with him.
