Sensational singer, Wizkid has spoken about his amazing relationship with Nigerian British rapper, Joseph Junior Adenuga popularly known as Skepta.
In a recent interview with Ebro Darden on his Apple Music show, he spoke about his recently released album “Made In Lagos” and his relationship with the rapper, Skepta who was also featured on the album. Ebro applauded his collaborations with Skepta, stating that the two make a good duo and Wizkid explained why.
According to the singer, he and Skepta connect in ways levels beyond music. He added that they have a strong relationship outside music as they are both from Lagos and are also fathers and young men hustling in the music industry. In his words; “Me and Skepta, I think why the music comes out so solid like that is because we have a great relationship outside music. I think we have a relationship as young brothers in this game just hustling to take it out to the World and beyond.
We are fathers, so we connect in many ways but we from Lagos. Every time he comes to Lagos, we are together. It’s a different kind of relationship, so what we get on a record is bound to always”
