“I’m not A Nigerian Artist… I don’t Even Make Money From Nigeria” – Burna Boy Reveals 

Nigerian Afrobeat artiste, Burna Boy has stirred trouble on Twitter following his recent tweets about him not being a Nigerian artist.

The 29 year old artist received serious backlash after he revealed on Twitter that he is not a Nigerian artist and shouldn’t be addressed as one.

This public denial of his mother’s land is coming hours after a Twitter fan took to Twitter to appeal with his fellow tweeps to take things easy on The Grammy award winning artist or he will be forced to leave the bird app for them.

Burna Boy who probably felt the fan shouldn’t be wasting his time discloses via his Tweet that he was not bothered by their negativity as he is not a Nigerian artist, See Tweet below;

His Tweet aggravated other Twitter users who came for him brutally. A Twitter user identified as Petu asked Burna Boy if he was promoting African and Nigeria after winning or it all for Showbiz.

Burna Boy clarified that he lives in Nigeria because of his family and fans, aside from that, he doesn’t like Nigeria and hasn’t really made money in Nigeria.

His tweet once again aggravated his fans and eventually pushed a tweep to call him a liar. The tweep identified as Phat boy asked him about the Money he received from Governor Wike during his Grammy Homecoming concert in Rivers.

Burna Boy just like his mother, Bose Ogulu, made it Crystal clear that he wasn’t paid a dime. According to him, only artists who performed at his homecoming concert were paid.
